What is sous-vide cooking?

Sous-vide is a unique cooking process where nutrients aren't lost to cooking water like with traditional cooking methods. As a result, it makes for a food that's nutrient rich like raw but safer since it's fully cooked.

To sous vide cook our food, we mix together our ingredients and portion them into BPA-free packages. We then cook them under non-boiling water for over 2 hours. This gradual cooking process enhances flavor, preserves nutrients, and provides higher food safety as the low heat removes bacteria. Once cooked, the meals are cooled and frozen to preserve freshness.

Another benefit of sous-vide, is that it allows us to make in on average 67% more protein than other gently cooked recipes. You can learn more about this on Our Food page.
